Pool Heating Season is Coming

Labor Day is next Monday and that usually means that fall is not far behind and if you don’t have a pool heater you may not be using your pool much longer. Total Comfort can help you extend your pool season by installing a pool heater.

There are three basic types of pool heaters; gas, heat pump, and solar. Each type has advantages and disadvantages.

Gas pool heaters can supply heat quickly to your pool but can cost more to operate than the other types. Heat pumps are more cost effective to operate but heat the pool more gradually. Solar heaters are the most cost effective to operate but can be more expensive to install. Total Comfort sells and services several brands of pool heaters and can arrange installation of any type for you. We can also arrange convenient financing to suit your budget. If you’ve been thinking of a pool heater, think of Total Comfort and give us a call. In the meantime, you can do some research by visiting the Department of Energy’s Website and view their information on Pool Heaters.

Gas Clearance Sale

Total Comfort Gas, Inc. is literally cleaning house.

A few years ago Total Comfort Gas was trying to maintain somewhat of a showroom at our location at 325 Walker Street in Holly Hill, however, the wide variety of gas products available made it impossible to stock enough current models of fireplaces, fireplace mantels, logs, gas grilles, tiki-torches and other accessories to make things practical. During that period, we also experienced growth that required adding personnel and we started running out of room.

We know with the temperature at 90 plus outside, no one is interested in a fireplace or gas logs right now but if you want to get a great deal, we are selling all items in stock at near cost, at cost, or below cost. There are a few pictures of items below and if you’re interested in anything that uses propane gas it would be a great time for you to get a great deal.

Call us at (386) 530-6613 or stop by 325 Walker Street between 9 and 4 weekdays.

In addition to heating your water, a heat pump water heater will cool the area around it. As the heat pump runs, cool air is exhausted into the room. Because they remove heat from the air, the heat pump water heater works very efficiently in Florida’s warm climate.
